Knapheide, a nationally recognized leader in commercial vehicle bodies and truck equipment, continues to expand its footprint across the country—and Civil Contracting, LLC is honored to support their growth here in Clayton, North Carolina. Their new facility on Highway 70 represents a major investment in both the region’s workforce and its industrial capabilities, solidifying Knapheide’s long-term presence in the area.

For this project, Civil Contracting, LLC is delivering a full range of commercial site development services tailored to the needs of a large-scale operational facility. Our work includes establishing precise building pads, contouring the site for proper drainage, and implementing a comprehensive erosion and sediment control plan to maintain environmental compliance throughout construction.

We are also installing critical underground utilities, including water, sewer, and storm infrastructure, to support the facility’s daily operations. In addition, our team is constructing a high-capacity asphalt parking lot and truck access areas, ensuring durable and efficient traffic flow for employees, visitors, and commercial vehicles.

These foundational services are essential in readying the property for full operational use, supporting a seamless progression from active construction to full business functionality.
